can not delete default categories

V251 from droid for android. I am unable to delete default categories or rename then.

Yes, that is by design.

May I ask why? It would be nice to at least hide them if I never plan to use them.

The details of the default categories are hard coded for historic reasons. They used to be separate apps which were merged with custom categories added.

Well, a hide feature might be a good idea at least in the future. But i like the app over all. Would be nice to have more entry customizations for more uses., less defaults that can't be removed. But that's a different subject.

Could not agree more.

The aesthetic functionality of not being able to delete the standard ones is worse for any user who does not use a category not ever will.

All in all you've made a pleasant interface and everything, but please sort this.
