Since version 3.5.7 changed the docker image removing dependencies from busybox and removed the /bin/sh command (here). With that change the pod never reaches READY state on kubernetes, with the probe failing
OCI runtime exec failed: exec failed: unable to start container process: exec: "/bin/sh": stat /bin/sh: no such file or directory: unknown.This fixes this problem by stop using
/bin/shand callingetcdctldirectly.
