<= Is used in Erlang for binary comprehensions and not equivalent to =<

1. << << (digit(I)) >> || <<I:4>> <= Bin >>. %
2. A =< B. %

Perhaps such a solution through the separation of font styles?

Yes, I also found that, for erlang programming that is very confused. But I love this font, hope it can be solved soon.

In Verilog it can be a left arrow or a less-than-or-equal, depending on context.

Hope the upcoming stylistic sets allow rendering <= as either, depending on context.

Another vote for verilog "support" we need to render it differently depending on context. If this could be done it would rock!

Can someone comment on how 'stylistic sets' would work in Intellij? I.e How would it be enabled/disabled by the user for different languages?

They probably won’t. Web based editors allow for that through CSS, and some
using native MacOS rendering might have that feature through system font
dialog. That’s why I think stylistic sets are not panacea, given the
reality of places where Fira Code is used
