Thanks anyway. It's been a good trip. Maybe someday, ...

I know there's no real point in posting here, but I'm still so sad that this has happened. Tomahawk was a genuinely incredible FOSS, cross-platform desktop player that nothing else has ever come close to or will probably come close to for many years.
If I knew more about software development I'd try and help, but I don't so I'll just say thanks for everything.

Sure... :/
It's a poor consolation, but I was a huge fan of the "live playlists" feature in Tomahawk, and since it has been abandoned; I made my own project - as a website !
Maybe you would like it :
It is also released as a Wordpress plugin, under the GPL licence.
I'll release a new version (where users can favorite tracks / create playlists) in a week or so.
Enjoy ?

I just discover this project as I looked for a windows client for Ampache...
Is there any solid alternative ?

:(
Maybe it's a good idea to update the website (tomahawk-player.org) as well? It looked so polished I thought this was still maintained. 😅

I still use it for now, kiv57, as a desktop player. If you find a good alternative please let me know!
Gordielachance, I like your project, but I was mainly interested in Tomahawk as a desktop/cross-platform client. Nice work though!
