git ignore doesnt have any options, except file or directory names to be ignored which already are provided by bash completion. how could it require completion? some example?!

tab completion of file names is what I mean,
this is provided by the associated shell I believe, but I think theres some hinting thats perhaps needed by the associated scripts?
