The aim for v3 is a sweep of the open Pull Requests, releasing many of the good fixes and enhancements, some of which include potentially breaking changes.

If there are problems with a Pull Request which are too time consuming to resolve, or neither the author nor a collaborator are interested in finishing off, then it will be dropped from v3 rather than delaying v3.
