These guidelines are targeted at package maintainers of Nuvola Apps or similar developers. It is supposed to outline a set of rules to make collaboration easier and less time consuming for both parties.
- Make sure you are subscribed to the Nuvola Apps Development mailing list not to miss important news, e.g. new dependencies.
- If you distribute Nuvola, you are supposed to provide your users with support as third-party builds are not covered by free support from Nuvola project (paid support is available).
- However, we do provide support to maintainers of third-party builds. If an user reports a problem you cannot tackle, feel free to create a bug report. The point is to talk directly with an experienced package maintainer, not with end users.
- If you bump into an issue, make sure it is reproducible with the latest commit of the tiliado/nuvolaplayer master branch as well as with the tiliado/diorite master branch.
- If you patch Nuvola/Diorite/Valacef source code, add or remove files, you are supposed to attach a tar.xz archive containing all the changes and reasons for them.
- Always mention your build flags for Nuvola/Diorite/Valacef.
These releases are no longer supported.
