Are there any plans to support eChecks or bank account transfer processing?

I'm looking at adding those features for Omnipay V3.

Hello, I needed eChecks support too. Approximately when will this be available? Thanks!

I think this will be more likely in OmniPay 3.0, where the payment method is more a generic interface that can accept a number of different types of payment types.

...and just noticed Graham has said the same thing :-) Never mind, typed it now.

Quick question on this. Like for Authorize.Net and ApplePay, and Accept.JS, is this just a front-end feature, implemented using JavaScript + iframe or custom form? If it is, then it is possible that it is supported now. The AIM gateway will accept opaque data (a front-end tokenised credit card or third-party payment source identifier) when making payments now. Would this be sufficient?

Edit: it does look to me like e-checks involve bank details being sent through the merchant site to authorize.net, which is something IMO to be avoided, unless you have the appropriate PCI compliance accreditation.

I see omnipay 3.0 alpha is out. Is echeck.net supported in it? eCheck.net's fees are significantly lower than credit card, and it would be great if omnipay could support it.

Would a bounty/offer help bringing this issue to priority?
