Donation Features

Features described on this page require the package 'aptik-donation-plugins' to be installed. This package is a complimentary gift for people who have contributed to this project. You can make a donation for $10 or more via PayPal to receive the plugins by email.

Aptik Theme Manager

This is a theme manager application for browsing themes installed on the system.

There's also a download section which features some of the best GTK and Icon themes available for Linux.

Installation

Ubuntu-based Distributions (Ubuntu, Mint, Elementary, etc)

Save the DEB file received by email to your Downloads folder, and open a terminal to install the package.

# 64-bit
sudo apt install ./aptik-donation-plugins*amd64.deb

# OR

# 32-bit
sudo apt install ./aptik-donation-plugins*i386.deb

You also need to install Aptik. You can install it from my PPA for current Ubuntu releases.

sudo apt-add-repository -y ppa:teejee2008/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install aptik

You can also download the DEB file from GitHub's Releases page. Save the DEB file to your Downloads folder, and open a terminal to install the package.

# 64-bit
sudo apt install ./aptik-*amd64.deb

# OR

# 32-bit
sudo apt install ./aptik-*i386.deb

Other Linux Distributions

Save the RUN file received by email to your Downloads folder. Open a terminal window and execute the installer.

# 64-bit
./aptik-donation-plugins*amd64.run

# OR

# 32-bit
./aptik-donation-plugins*i386.run

You also need to install Aptik.

Download the RUN file from GitHub's Releases page and save it to your Downloads folder. Open a terminal window and execute the installer.

# 64-bit
./aptik-*amd64.run

# OR

# 32-bit
./aptik-*i386.run

Installer can be used on following distribution types:

  • RedHat based - Fedora, RedHat, Cent OS, etc (supports dnf and yum)
  • Debian based - Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Elementary OS, etc (supports apt)
  • Arch based - Arch Linux, Manjaro, etc (supports pacman)
