bit import/fork not working #6148
-
I'm just getting started with bit, and I'm trying to fork or import some components to kick start my efforts. Unfortunately, I'm not able to properly fork or import any components. First off, I'm not sure if I'm using the correct component id for fork (although it appears that fork has been removed in the latest versions of the bit binary, but it still appears in the reference for the cli). But in bit.cloud there are commands to install the component using npm/yarn or to import it with bit. I copy the listed import command, but all I get is this error:
So I'm confused as to whether I'm missing something or I'm doing it wrong. |

Actually, nevermind. I was in a workspace created by an older version of bit. Blew that away and started a new workspace and now it works. |
