This has been tested on Ubuntu 12.04, 13.10, and 14.04.

sudo apt-get install git
git clone https://github.com/twosigma/beaker-notebook.git
cd beaker-notebook
. launcher/ubuntu/install-dependencies.sh
gradle run
