@orbitfold @ssim - so I added clang to the mix of compilers, which hopefully should preempt future problems with the mac. Interestingly enough, that gives different results for the two compilers. I will look further into this |

Are the results the same on your system? The compilation flags when building it with CC=clang python setup.py build may end up messed up. |
