I don't have time to write any tests for this but it is working for me in initial tests. I will try and add tests if I get time at a later date

Thanks! There's actually a PR from yesterday — #10 — that I didn't get round to merging but which achieves the same end result. It does have tests, so I'll close this in favour of that one 😉
