User "tsifsa" on discord reports:

Hi guys, not sure if that was reported before, so I downloaded the latest version of Surge XT and it doesn't keep the zoom settings, I'm using it with the latest version of Reaper x64 win10 64bit. Also the drop down menus are tiny even when you zoom to 300%

Win10 64bit home I'm on a 4k tv screen When resizing the UI, the plugin forgets the settings when I reopen it
Also, the drop down menus always stay in 100% No matter what size you choose
Checked the txt settings file of Surge XT and it seems to hold the settings but the plugin it self doesn't work right.

and I noticed https://forum.juce.com/t/popupmenu-scaling-issue-on-windows-hidpi/46075/15

and also that soon i'll have actual hardware

So In finally played with this with a windows box hooked up to a 4k monitor

The OP problem of zoom and scale colliding is fixed, almost definitely by the change i did in #5371
So really the only question is menu zooming.
The menus didn't look that bad to me tbh
but i'll keep this one around in case i want to make it an option
but may also bounce it out now the real scale interaction problem is solved.
