A particular wavetable (sent to Paul directly) crashes Reaper hard when trying to drop it on the interface. I assume it's because it's 88.2k, but not sure.

OK confirmed this also cores out the AU on macOS instantly too. Great!

A proprietary wav file (which I can't check into the regtests, sigh)
crashed the Wav readerl this change fixes it and cleans up some of
the Wav error messages
