This is the streamio fork of the open source flash video player Go Player. It’s technically very similar to the original but some effort has gone into cleaning up the source tree and making it more user friendly for less advanced users.
You’ll be working with the goplayer FLA file found in the src directory and the skin FLA files found in the skin-src dir.
SWF files are exported into the example directory where you’ll also find the index.html file containing an example of how to publish your player.
Beware that running the index file locally might not play well with Flash security settings so you might have better luck running the files from a real web server.
If you want to test your player from inside of flash please override some configuration settings in src/goplayer/ConfigurationParser.as to avoid having to configure the player from an html file. The frame script in goplayer.fla has some notes on this as well.
The kind of files you’ll want to deploy to your web server.
GoPlayer FLA file and the source code to run it.
Skin FLA files and the code needed to run them.
The interfaces used for player-skin-communication.
Generic utility functions and classes, used in both the player engine code and the skin code.
