`curl -fsSL https://deno.land/x/install/install.sh | sh`

After running this command you may see a warning asking you to manually set your environment variables.

If you are using a bash terminal, open your .bashrc file in a text editor/IDE of your choice:

`code $HOME/.bashrc` to open in VSCode

If you are using a zsh terminal open your .zshrc file in a text editor/IDE of your choice:

`code $HOME/.zshrc` to open in VSCode

Add the following to your respective rc file

```
export DENO_INSTALL="/home/REPLACE_WITH_YOUR_USER/.deno"
export PATH="$DENO_INSTALL/bin:$PATH"
```

Re-run the curl command.

Restart your terminal or enter a new one. To confirm deno was installed, check the version by running `deno --version`, should see something like `deno 1.37.2`

You can find more information on the [Deno Docs](https://docs.deno.com/runtime/manual/getting_started/installation)
