just wanted to mention/share comment for future consideration, in these types of release 'trains' such as 'Soroban Preview X' which is a label representing an aggregation of specific versions of individual software components each of which is on their own independent versioning, have seen the usage of BoM terminology used, for Bill of Materials, each release train is a single BoM instance with a manifest of the component:version matrix. Have seen this packaging concept taken a step further into automation also such as with Maven BoM, which potentially provides end users a way to download all the correct versions of components for a release train in one operation, rather than getting each manually. |
