Description

Type: Bug
Summary: sometimes if you press [enter] immediately after typing a message, text can remain in text input and cursor position is changed to the beginning. A bit easier to reproduce in Linux, but on Mac OSx it is also possible.

Expected behavior

message is sent, the input field is empty.

Actual behavior

message is sent, text remains in the input field, caret jumps to the beginning of the message

Reproduction

  • Open Status
  • Log in
  • Join any chat
  • Type message and press enter immediately after text to send it
