Become a sponsor to Luke Burns
Hi, I'm Luke!
I'm a graduate student doing theoretical physics research in the realms of relativistic field theory and quantum mechanics (it is SO dang fun). You can find my research on Github, including publications and works in progress. If you see something I missed or notice something interesting, I invite you to create a new issue or submit a pull request!
With a background in software development, I have been deeply influenced by open source, and I hope to see the academic research community take some hints from the open source community on the creation and publication of research. More than just greater open access, I hope to see more creative research activity happening out in the open.
Every once in a while, I publish software libraries when I get sucked into interesting projects, which tends to happen during midterms and finals when I'm procrastinating (I can get some pretty good mileage during these periods!).
If you choose to sponsor me, you can at minimum be assured that you will be directly supporting work sessions on some math, physics, or software project that I'm excited about. I also hope that you'll find the research and software libraries that I publish useful and interesting!
With gratitude,
Luke
