Download old OptiFine versions (pre-1.9) without getting your computer shat on by adfly
These are only the files I could find on this forum page (DO NOT DOWNLOAD FROM HERE). Some 1.7 and 1.8 versions might have newer OptiFine versions than what's in this repository, so check the official OptiFine website.
This archive is "complete" in that it covers all Minecraft versions (that OptiFine was made for) before release 1.9, but there are some minor versions of the mod listed on the forum page that I couldn't find. Check "missing_versions.txt" for more details.

Some of the older beta versions might be useless as they depend on an Optimine version that isn't available.
This repository builds off ShayBox's repository which covers release 1.4 and up.
