Is there any way of having allowedFilters be concatenated with OR instead of AND?

Currently providing a query like this: ?filter[fieldA]=test&filter[fieldB]=test

Results in the following query:

... WHERE LOWER(`fieldA`) LIKE '%test%' AND LOWER(`fieldB`) LIKE '%test%';

What I need is

... WHERE LOWER(`fieldA`) LIKE '%test%' OR LOWER(`fieldB`) LIKE '%test%';
