This is to resolve problem as described in issue #106. I was assuming originators issue was due to Chef 14.2 change - the dates are close but I have just seen the issue stack trace shows Chef 13.6.4. I've not been able to reproduce the issue with that Chef version, only with Chef 14.7.17. I have tested with Chef 14.7.17 on SLES 11.4 and SLES 12.3. Also tested with Chef 13.12.3 on SLES 12.4.
