Release Summary :
SODA Navarino v1.8.0 release is an incremental release over the SODA Madagascar v1.7.0 release of SODA Foundation.
The earlier stable release SODA Madagascar v1.7.0 can get here.
SODA Open Data Framework (ODF) Navarino v1.8.0 is released with new features of container data protection for Kubernetes, enhanced features for heterogeneous storage performance monitoring, and existing multicloud data management features.
Navarino release comes with SODA Kahu, our new project for data backup & restore for Kubernetes-based container application deployment with a scalable storage provider framework. SODA Delfin (Heterogeneous SPM) comes with new drivers along with existing resources, alerts, and performance monitoring. SODA Strato (Multicloud DM) project comes with installer and metadata enhancements along with existing s3 provisioning, data mobility, and lifecycle management features
Overall SODA Installer was enhanced and projects were upgraded to work with Ubuntu 20.04LTS
