Does socket.io works in phonegap+ android

Hi,

I was trying to connect to node.js from phonegap using socket.io and display streamed data into android device. But I was not able to resolve this issue. I also Installed the adobe flash, even though i couldn't able to get the result.
Same things works perfectly in desktop browsers and iPad devices. Can you please suggest how to solve this issue.
