The idea is to introduce achievements into SkyLines. A pilot can unlock those by several actions either in-flight or by interacting with the SkyLines platform. The reason for adding these achievements is to increase cross-country flight motivation and SkyLines adoption by providing something like a checklist of things that you haven't done before.

Here are two lists of ideas how these achievements could look like:

SkyLines related:

  • Using Live Tracking for the first time, 3rd time, 5th, 10th, ... (how to avoid tracking "on ground" ?)

  • Uploading your first IGC file, your 3rd, your 5th, 10th, ...

  • Adding comments (might lead to misuse and spam...)

  • Having your first follower, 3rd, 5th, 10th, ...

  • Recieve comments 10,25,50...

  • Create the account of a (your) club
