Name Server Group for forwarding zones

The infoblox_ns_group_forward resource may be used to manage Name Server Groups for forwarding zones.

Argument Reference

The following arguments are supported:

  • name - (Required, Default: none) - (String) - The name of the name server group.
  • comment - (Optional, Default: empty) - (String) - Comment field.
  • forwarding_servers - (Required, Default: empty) - (Forwarding Member Server Array) - Contains per-Grid-member forwarding configuration. See Forwarding Member Server Array for details.

Forwarding Member Server Array attributes

  • forward_to - (Optional, Default: empty) - (External Server array) - The names and IP addresses of the remote name servers where requests should be forwarded to. Required if use_override_forwarders is set to true. See 'External server array' below for details of attrbiutes which can be set.
  • forwarders_only - (Optional, Default: false) - (Boolean) - Determines whether requests are sent to forwarders only and not to other name servers.
  • name - (Required: Default: none) - (String) - The FQDN of the grid member.
  • use_override_forwarders - (Optional, Default: false) - (Boolean) - Whether or not to use forward_to to send queries to remote name servers.

External Server Array attributes

  • address - (Required, Default: none) - (String) - The IP address of the external server.
  • name - (Required, Default: none) - (String) - A resolvable domain name for the external DNS server.
