i3wm + GNOME

Allows you to use i3wm with GNOME 3 Session infrastructure.

What do I'll get by installing it?

• In order to manage GNOME things like your cursor/icon (GTK) themes, online accounts.
• Is a friendly bridge that keep your stuff from GNOME to have it over i3.
• Useful for the ones that are getting started with i3wm but doesn't want to uninstall the current desktop environment.

Requirements

• i3-wm
• GNOME (3.36.x)
• GDM (optional, but useful)
• GNOME Flashback

Packages

Installation from scratch

Using make:

• git clone [email protected]:i3-gnome/i3-gnome.git.
• cd i3-gnome
• sudo make install
