Aware, that was deliberate. I actually want backticks, but that screws with some YAML parsers. Likewise ASCII quotes have meaning to YAML (even though rightfully not in these cases) and some syntax parsers trip up. This was a compromise for how I wanted it to look without breaking anything. For giggles, see egregious bad things like this that happen when trying to use backticks in strings when you actually want to display them even in languages for which they have no special meaning (in that case Rust + Fluent). |
