I think it makes sense to use a different path for the new certificate so that we can control the error message that users see.
The new mirror at https://mirror.mwt.me/shiftkey-desktop/ pulls from the new apt repo (#834) and the new rpm repo (#835) while the old one at https://mirror.mwt.me/ghd/ is still an archive of packagecloud.
After a while (a month?), I can put a descriptive error for all requests to
/ghd/...which should show up in console with a link to some transition instructions for all users (just like the usage limit error did on packagecloud).
