Siigna module
If the Siigna main provides the tools for graphical feedback and data-handling, the modules provide the main functionality to do the actual drawing. The underlying principle for the modules is thus to use the mainline to help the user do whatever he needs to do.
In this sense the modules can be anything and do anything with the mainline. Currently we are working on a single bundle of modules called the "base" modules which provides basic drawing-functionality that you would expect of a CAD application.
See the wiki page for the Base Modules
The design however, sets the stage for much more creative use and we truly encourage you to try and develop some simple modules to plugin to the mainline Siigna mainline architecture.
The module is described in-depth in the article called module.
