mt7921u on wsl2 kernel 6.1

Hi Sean,

Thanks for documenting the process for passing USB WIFI overall to WSL2. I am currently trying to get MT7921u driver and firmware to work on WSL2 Kernel v6.1, but it is crashing. Have you by any chance encounter similar situation when porting the driver from 5.18 to 5.15?

I filed an issue with WSL - microsoft/WSL#12288 about what i encountered, including the steps I took to get the driver to built, but when i pass the AWUS036AXM WIFI overall to WSL2, it would cause the kernel to panic.

Can you take a quick pass to see if I may have make any mistakes with my custom kernel build setup?

I will try kernel 6.6 if I have time. (Sadly, No time right now)

I suggest you find a real working PC with target linux kernel.
MT7921u should work without any modify in normal Linux OS like Ubuntu.

If it works, compare the firmware and driver version & dmesg.

Also, looks like WSL2 official relase still use 5.15 kernel right now

Maybe kernel 6.1 is not stable.
