I casually discover a singlet sampled earlier in November in Spain from a traveller from Uganda.
Central Africa has been a very under sampled area through 2024 so 1 sample from there , even if not super recent , is worth to be described.
The sample belongs to LF.7.3 and has two spike mutations S:L117I and S:N487D. The latter is recently homoplasic and appeared today in a XEC sample from California too.

LF.7.3>> C1387T > C25731T >
T4264C, S:L117I (C21911A), S:N487D (A23021G), Orf3a:R134C (C25792T), ORF3a:V255F (G26155T), C26873T, G29266A
Query: C21911A,A23021G ( or C1387T, A23021G, T3565C)
Samples: 1 Uganda (sampled in Basque Country, Spain) collected on November 1, 2024
