It seems that S:S31F is also convergent in BA.2.86*. Besides JN.2.1 there's also some JN.1.1 branchs with this.

JN.1.1+C21654T(S:S31F)

GISAID query: C21654T,C11747T,C1762A,-9142,-19011,-14070,
No. of seqs: 4(USA 2 Singapore 1(from China) South Korea 1)

First: EPI_ISL_18445258, 2023-10-23, Singapore from China
Latest: EPI_ISL_18592913, 2023-11-17, USA

It is interesting cause if you make the sum of the mutations deletions and the insertion in that region the 1-100AA of the NTD of BA.2.86 are very far away from the WT, so it makes sense some new mutations could be selected there

There seems to be one S:R346T sub-branch under this branch. Don't know the order.
