When uploading an asset into a field of an object/document, do I really have to select it manually after?

I've been trying to find a way to upload an asset into a field and have it selected automatically. But what happens is, it just uploads the asset then I have to manually selected it. I've seen in this exact point in the video that she just uploaded it straight away and not having to select it. https://youtu.be/OcTPaUfay5I?t=4036

If there is a similar discussion, please refer it. I've been trying my best to search for someone who has a similar problem/inquiry.

Please ignore this post. Solved this by upgrading to 3.12.0 from 3.11.1
