About the Salt Community Open Hour

The Community Open Hour is a weekly meeting between the Salt Core Team and Salt Contributors to discuss requests, concerns, priorities, and highlights. The standing agenda includes Salt news and updates, a feedback item of the week, time for open community discussion. The community drives the rest of the Open Hour by requesting topics and participating in the Open Hour conversation.

These meetings exist to share information, facilitate conversations, and collaborate to find solutions. Community members are encouraged to submit topics that they’d like to discuss and participate in the conversation during meetings.

Logistics and Additional Information

  • We meet on Thursdays at 11:00am MT/5:00pm UTC via Zoom. For those who can't attend, we publish the Open Hour notes on the community wiki and videos to the SaltStack YouTube page.
