Besides technical part, there are other preparations in order to launch Strong Customer Authentication. Service Provider has to inform customers about new authentication method, instruct customers, etc. All the business related goals that have to be accomplished before going Live are listed below:

Mandatory:

  • Use one or more communication channels to inform customers about introduction of Strong Customer Authentication, and instruct customers about the enrollment process. Provide links to download Salt Edge Authenticator app, as well as share QR code for enrollment purpose.

Optional:

  • Apply HTML style for each type of authorization (e.g. provide account information to TPP app/authorize initiated payment order);
  • Add list of connected Authenticator apps in Web or Mobile Banking with option to “Revoke” connection to Authenticator app instance;
  • Apply Authenticator app for internal company authorizations procedures (e.g. asset or document access).
