Nicely is a Web app that analyzes a user’s tweets and obtains sentiment data. The data is used to suggest future behavior on social media, the ideal time to post, and promote positivity online. The web app was built with Python, Flask, JavaScript, Twitter API, and IBM Watson.
The web application allows the user to enter a Twitter handle and instantly see feedback and analytics of the Tweets from that handle. These analytics include what percentage of their Tweets contain angry sentiment, or other negative sentiments. The web app also gives the user an example of a good tweet and analyzes timestamps to tell the user what times they are more or less likely to post negative tweets.
