Go 1.9 tools ignore vendor/. So this lets us replace all those ugly grep -v /vendor/ commands and just use ./..., e.g. go test ./...

vendor/. Dropping testing with older versions of Go lets us replace all those uglygrep -v /vendor/commands and just use./..., e.g.go test ./.... The exception to this is naughtygolint, which still doesn't ignorevendor/.
