Inspired by my fascination with VR user interfaces and to navigate the current web using only a VR headset.
Initially, created during a 3 day Hackathon project.
Utilizes: React-VR and photos taken by a Ricoh Theta S 360 camera.
Have the latest Node and npm package manager installed and running globally.
git clone https://github.com/robin-k-wilson/Blog360.git;
cd Blog360;
npm install;
npm start;
Open 'http://localhost:8081/vr/' in your preferred browser.
Desktop headsets:
- Please follow steps outlined on the Firefox website: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/view-virtual-reality-firefox-webvr
Mobile:
- Connect computer to same wifi as phone -- check to ensure computer firewall is turned off
- Get the current IP address of the computer
- Open a browser on your mobile phone and enter in ':8081/vr/'
