This issue pertains to an inaccurate display of player info when playback recorded demo file.
During demo playback, essential data such as player team, frags, deaths, and related info are missing when the demo is initially started.
Consequently, all players are displayed on the scoreboard as "SPECTATOR" with 0 frags and 0 deaths etc and until when new in-game events occur, but it takes time.
The proposed fix involves enhancing the
CBasePlayer::ForceClientDllUpdate
functionIncluding updating more data related to:
TeamInfo
player teamScoreInfo
frags and deaths infoRadar
player positions on the radarScoreAttrib
player attributes (e.g., DEAD, BOMB, VIP)Location
player locations
