We intend to activate MultiOutput before sending the actual MULTI command. This can however lead to a state where MultiOutput is set on the connection but the MULTI command was rejected or never sent. We should investigate what we can do here.

We now clear the MULTI state on a best-effort basis when the MULTI command fails (Redis error, timeout, …).
