Added a missing DMA mask to board-config to make it work "correctly" with an alternative SPI-Driver that also implement Transfers via DMA to reduce CPU load...

Please apply to help people work with out of tree drivers.

Note: it may be also be of interrest to look at the config to find other such missing DMA settings...

Thanks,
Martin

p.s: the same patch can also get applied to 3.6.y and 3.11.y

msperl added 5 commits October 8, 2013 11:49
Also added option to configure real-time behaviour of the SPI workqueue - RT is enabled by default for low latency.

sorry, for reverting and reverting back - did not understand how the pulls get updated on github automatically...

It is now "back" to as it should be - only modifying arch/arm/mach-bcm2708/bcm2708.c

Any reason why we are not applying it?

Thanks, Martin

Can you squash down to a single commit ?
Something like
git rebase -i HEAD~5
follow instructions to squash commits together
`git push -f``

msperl and others added 2 commits October 18, 2013 11:01
added DMA masks also to SPI driver configuration setup
this allows (future) versions of the driver to allocate DMA enabled memory,
which does not work right now.

I can not get that done correctly - always something changes (like the "empty" merge)...

If this is not sufficient - I can create a new pull-request instead from a separate branch...

Fix is to check that channel is in state BT_DISCONN before deleting the
channel.

This bug was found while fuzzing Bluez's OBEX implementation using
Synopsys Defensics.

[ Upstream commit 28261da ]

Because of both sides doing L2CAP disconnection at the same time, it
was possible to receive L2CAP Disconnection Response with CID that was
already freed. That caused problems if CID was already reused and L2CAP
Connection Request with same CID was sent out. Before this patch kernel
deleted channel context regardless of the state of the channel.

Example where leftover Disconnection Response (frame #402) causes local
device to delete L2CAP channel which was not yet connected. This in
turn confuses remote device's stack because same CID is re-used without
properly disconnecting.
