For reasons I won't bore you with, I'm double-proxying my Kibana installation and using
mod_proxy_htmlto do some rewrites. This was messing up the JSON from Kibana because the MIME type was coming back astext/html. I've set the type explicitly, which has the side-effect of simplifyingajax.jsever-so-slightly.
