prepareOrderTransaciton API call cannot handle decimals

This call works great with integer numbers, but when trying any decimal I get this error:

"status":400,"code":"ABSENCE_OF_REQUIRED_FIELD","message":"For input string: "1.1"

How to handle this, is it a bug?

It is number of NFT's to buy/sell. So it should be int
