Fixes #5991

Basically grandchildren could allocate new consoles, which we were somewhere. This changes things so we create a new console (which seems to detach us from the parent process...) but we create it hidden, so that it is invisible. I tried running this, and can confirm it fixes the problem -- thanks for the super-quick turnaround!

You're welcome! It was definitely something I wanted to look into, but it never really bothered me that much. But now that I fixed it I could never go back :P
