4.0.0 (2023-09-01)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This release is the result of more than two years of rewrites.
We've tried our best to keep this release backwards-compatible with v3.
If you find something that seems to be a regression, please consult the documentation first,
before filing an issue.
Thanks to all the users who have contributed with ideas, solutions and beta-testing.
You're too many to name, but you know who you are.
A special thanks to `@drRedflint <https://github.com/drRedflint>`_ and `@jeffwright13 <https://github.com/jeffwright13>`_
for all the javascript and testing respectively.
Looks like new 4.0.0 has been tagged as 4.0.0 when all prev versions have been tagged as v<version>.
Does it mean that it it tagging convention change or just mistake/typo? 😋
I changed it. Didn't see any value with the v. 🤷‍♂️
