XDI2 release 0.8 ("Orșova") is the next release currently under development.

Information

The main focus areas of this release will be improved support for XDI Messaging, XDI Bindings and XDI Connections, as well as work in security and performance.

Compatibility

Various code changes (renamed packages, classes, methods) are necessary, but it should be able maintain the same functionality that was available in version 0.7.4. See the release notes for details. In terms of graph compatibility, a single change has occurred: For XDI relative names and numbers, the relativity symbol has changed from _ to ~.
