Debugging

You can use following log files for debugging.
- Server driver log
- C:\Program Files\ALVR\logs\driver.log
- Generated only if "DebugLog" is enabled
- Crash log
- C:\Program Files\ALVR\logs\ALVR_CrashLog_*.log
- Generated when driver crashes
- SteamVR log
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs\vrserver.txt
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs\vrmonitor.txt
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs\vrcompositor.txt
- Open "Debug" tab on ALVR.exe
- Check "DebugLog" and restart server
- Then you get
driver.log
file in(Install path)\logs\driver.log
- Connect your headset to PC with USB cable
- Open Command Prompt
- Put
adb logcat -d > logcat.txt

- Change
Command
parameter toC:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\bin\win64\vrserver.exe
inDebugging
configuration. - Set
Command Arguments
to--keepalive
or--keepalive --earlyload
- Set alvr_server project as startup projcet.
- Start debug.
