Mongo tests were failing, so I updated step 9

  • to account for some apparent changes in the mongo data component.
  • bug in mongo data persistence fix (toPublic rather than fromPublic since it's a GET)
  • launch.json to assist in debugging tests.
  • npm libs got updated.
  • added "calls.http" under test for simple postman-like testing within VSC

If these changes are okay, I can make the same changes in the earlier steps.
